 38  yearFocus on maintaining/improving neighborhood residential
integrity/quality of life, land use, zoning protection, property values
city tax base support for city schools/city services.

Responsible for defeating luxury housing at Albany muni golf
course, saving mixed resident uses of course according to seasons.

Saved area that became Hartman Rd Community Garden as
 
Rezoned Buckingham Pond/shore LC creating Buckingham Pond Park.

Saved neighborhood open spaces. Corner New Scotland and S. Manning
And at Whitehall.

Sheehan Rezone Albany Plan (June 2017) wiped out all these. Amend
Repeal Rezone Albany and restore these open space protections in perpetuity.

We blocked a big box store and 3rd middle school in vicinity of Krum killl
and New Scotland (2000)

We also led defefeat of 12 story apartment building/parking garage  Krum Kill
Rd opposite Ohav Shalom.

City of Albany needs urban reforestation program on New Scotland and all
heavily trafficked neighborhood streets to beautify neighborhood, provide summer 
shade,  release oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide yto combat deteriorating air quality
from increased traffic volumes. Observe dying trees and how many have been removed.
