OPPOSE:
1, extension of trash tax to uptown
single family homes
2. 2 (4%) water/sewer rate increase
Uptown single family homeowners pay too
much in property taxes
3. sale/privatization of Albany Muni Golf Course
4. converting North Albany K-8 school to a
segregated middle school for refugees/illegals.
Let them learn English and assimilate.
5. Ward 9 Bioswale Plan.
support:
1. Moratorium on lavish tax breaks to developers
for building "luxury " apartments. Market is saturated.
Section 8 housing will result.
2. Fix the sewer system before any more development is approved.
3. Repeal Rezone Albany provisions relating to
mixed use development in single family residential
zoning districts. Restore provisions /definitions of
former R1B zoning code
4. Repeal sanctuary city status for Albany
5. Restore neighborhood green spaces in perpetuity
New Scotland at S Manning Blvd, at Whitehall Rd
at Krumkill Rd, St Catherine Rectory and green
green space at Hurst/Collins...all of which were
rezoned commercial with Rezone Albany June 2017
